Curiosità: The magic world of the Amazing Randi

"From beyond the misty centuries and the hidden chronicles of the ancients, with a sweeping bow, a wave of the wand, and open arms, I welcome you to the wonderful, exciting world of Magic!

Lo stesso Randi avverte che "(...) some of the tricks need only a short period of practice, while others require many hours of repetition before they are mastered. Please, wait until you are very familiar with how these tricks are done before you entertain your family and friend with them".
Anche qui, giusto per dire le cose come stanno, Randi non manca di ricordare che: "Sad to say, there are some people who make their living by using trickery and telling the public that what they do is supernatural (...) They use some of the methods described in this book, though you may not recognize them. We should reject this deception if it is not presented as entertainment".
